Our seniors left early this morning for their retreat. They had an amazing surprise, Fr. Joe is joining them on their on their faith journey. Please pray for them as they grow closer with their love of their faith as well as each other.




Our anatomy and physiology classes were learning about their lung capacities this week. They had fun determining their own lung capacities.

This Saturday Josh and John's Scoop Truck will be at the Grace Center for Athletics at 3 p.m. This is a fundraiser for our lacrosse team. Our baseball team is also playing a double header. This will be a House Event that afternoon! Come on out 2-5 and see if you are the lucky winner of a gift card AND cheer on our Pirates!

SMHS Students for Life Club has an active week. Students created chalk art with pro-life messages at school today in preparation for Pirate Night tomorrow. Friday, we will have a field trip to Denver for the Colorado March for Life, where we will join many others in sharing our witness that all life matters.




Today we had our National Honor Society induction ceremony.
Congratulations on all of your hard work, what a well deserved honor.


Our three varsity golf girls placed 2nd today in the La Junta tournament today. Way to make us proud! It looks like they also were able to enjoy some yummy food too.



Pirate night for all incoming freshman and transfer students for fall 2025 is April 9th. We will have all of our department chairs, coaches, and clubs available to meet you all. There will be food trucks and a lot of fun! The time is 6-7:30 p.m.

St. Mary's chemistry students were performing titrations today. A basic way to learn about solutions!





We began our day today with an amazing presentation by our Campus Ministers, Stations of the Cross. It was beautiful and very well done.

This morning we had the honor of celebrating Mass with Bishop Golka. It is the feast day of St. Joseph and Bishop's homily was insightful. We are truly blessed.

Today was a very exciting day at St. Mary's. We hosted over 60 7th grade students and they were amazing! Our future is so bright at St. Mary's High School.
