After winning regionals last weekend, both of our Pirate basketball teams continue on in the 3A state basketball tournament, playing in the Elite 8 on Thursday! The tournament moves to the Hamilton Gym in the Ritchie Center on the University of Denver campus. Thursday, March 10, our Pirate boys team plays at 5:30 pm and Lady Pirates play at 7 pm. We encourage all of our Pirate supporters to come out and cheer on the teams as they look to advance in the tournament.
St. Mary's is hosting a hospitality suite in the Champions Room in the Ritchie Center starting at 4 pm on Thursday, March 10. Players' families, alumni, and Pirate fans are invited to join us for refreshments in the Champions Room.
The games will be broadcast on the NFHS Network (subscription required) for any fans not able to attend in person.
