PLTW Courses Now Dual Credit
The five Project Lead the Way courses are now considered dual credit courses, and will thus be weighted as 5.0 on the course credit scale. This places them on the same level as AP courses. If students would like to adjust their schedules to include a PLTW course, they need to have an appointment scheduled with their counselor by Monday, Aug. 16.

Unable to Field Football This Year
On Monday, Coach Jim Cristelli informed his players and their families that St. Mary’s will be unable to field a football team for the 2021 season. Given the number of players who had committed to the team, and the level of experience they had with the sport at the varsity level, Coach Cristelli felt that it would be dangerous to put these players in situations they were not prepared for either mentally or physically. St. Mary’s student who would like to play football may do so at any District 11 school or at a high school in the school district in which they reside. Contact Coach Cristelli at jcrestelli@smhscs.org with any questions.
