St. Mary's High School

Six St. Mary's athletes were in action on the opening day of the CHSAA Track & Field Championships at Jeffco Stadium in Lakewood.

Billy Kellick (Jr.) reached the medal podium with a 5th-place finish in the boys 2A long jump with a leap of 21'3.5".

The girls 4x200 relay team of Landry Phillips (Jr.), Margo Salveson (Sr.), Emerson Kutz(Sr.), and Maeve Salveson (Sr.) came within .08 seconds of qualifying for Friday's finals, finishing 10th in the preliminaries with a time of 1:51.16.

The girls 800m sprint medley team of Landry Phillips, Margo Salveson, Maeve Salveson, and Clara Perez-Miller (So.) placed 13th with a time of 2:01.65.
