St. Mary's is accepting applications
for the 2023-2024 school year.

CURRENT 8TH GRADER

CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT

All incoming 9th grade applicants are required to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) as part of the application process. The HSPT primarily serves as a tool for placing a rising 9th grader into the appropriate level of course in the subjects of English, Math, and Science.

Please register below to take the placement test. Select a test date and submit the $25 testing fee, all within the registration form.

APPLY FOR 9TH GRADE

TO APPLY, please complete an application.

1. Upload the following documents to your application (or scan and upload to Admissions@smhscs.org):

  • Birth certificate (PDF)

  • Recent photo (JPG) - must be clear image of student only, showing head and shoulders, squarely facing the camera. No dark glasses, filters, etc. Max file size is 5mb.

  • Immunization record, up-to-date (PDF)

  • 7th grade final report card (PDF)

  • 8th grade 1st semester report card (PDF) or both semesters, if available

  • Copy of current 504 or IEP, if applicable (PDF).

2. Submit $50 application fee or $25 if you have previously paid for the High School Placement Test.

3. Request recommendations from your current 8th grade teachers. St. Mary's requires the following recommendations:

  • English Teacher

  • Math Teacher

  • Science Teacher

  • Unofficial transcript (PDF)

  • In-progress grades, if applicable (PDF)

  • Copy of current 504 or IEP, if applicable (PDF).

2. Submit $50 application fee.

TUITION PLANS / ASSISTANCE

FACTS works with schools across the country to provide tuition management services that make education more affordable. Through their programs, parents can pay tuition and fees over time, using a variety of payment methods, making it easier to afford a quality education for their children.

UPON ACCEPTANCE, a packet will be mailed to you.

Return the following paperwork and fee to the Admissions Office.
Course Request, signed.
Tuition Contract, signed.
Offer of Tuition Assistance, signed (if applicable).
Registration Fee of $500.

Student's classes will be scheduled after the registration fee has been paid and forms in the acceptance packet have been completed and returned.

DECREASE your tuition fee:
1. Purchase SCRIP through our Business Office. A percentage of the SCRIP profit is applied as a discount to your next year's tuition.

2. Pay tuition in full by June 15 by cash or check to receive a $300 discount or a $150 discount if paid on time by credit card. (NOTE: Tuition assistance recipients do not qualify for this discount.)

3. Pay one-half tuition by June 15 and the second half by Nov. 15 by cash or check to receive a $150 discount off second payment. Receive a $75 discount off second payment if paid on time by credit card. (NOTE: Tuition assistance recipients do not qualify for this discount.)
