TADS: TUITION ASSISTANCE

The following represents a typical (not guaranteed) adjusted tuition commitment based on the Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) that appears on the tax returns of the family/individual financially responsible for the student. The submitted tax return must show the student as a dependent. Tuition amounts are per student/per year.

– Under $30,000 (case-by-case)
– $30,001-$50,000 – $7,600/year for tuition
– $50,0001-$75,000 – $8,600/year for tuition
– $75,001-$100,000 – $9,600/year for tuition
– $100,000-$120,000 (case-by-case)
– Over $120,000 – $10,600/year for tuition

Factors that can influence the financial aid award include, but are not limited to: multiple dependent children enrolled in Catholic schools, dependent children enrolled in college, and unanticipated life events (illness, job loss, etc.).

Financial aid consideration is contingent on the student being accepted for admission, and a completed TADS application. TADS is used both for the financial aid application and, once your student is enrolled, for setting up tuition payments.

Note:  Both the 2020-2021 admissions application and the financial aid assessment must be completed and received by St. Mary’s no later than Jan. 31, 2020, to be considered during the first meeting of the Tuition Assistance Committee. This will require a completed Financial Aid Assessment application to be submitted through TADS by Jan. 31, 2020. TADS application process opened on December 1, 2019. Go to www.mytads.com and click on Financial Aid Assessment.

TADS (Tuition Aid Data Services) is a third-party data compilation company that assists St. Mary’s High School in determining eligibility for tuition assistance and provides all families the opportunity to pay tuition monthly. While St. Mary’s is committed to making a Catholic college-preparatory education affordable to all who desire it, tuition assistance funds from St. Mary’s High School are limited.

All families—new and returning—who can exhibit a need for assistance are encouraged to complete the application. Please allow 2-3 weeks after completion for the application to be processed.

Tuition for the 2020-2021 school year is $10,600. Several payment plans are available.

St. Mary’s High School gratefully recognizes our donors who make possible the tuition assistance program. Without their generous support, these funds would not be available to families in need.
