Dress Code Reminder
After a great first week back at school, we wanted to remind everyone to review the dress code in the SMHS Family Handbook here. Please remember that in addition to everyday dress code tops, i.e. crewnecks, blouses, button-ups, etc., students are allowed to wear official SMHS gear like t-shirts and hoodies.
Please note one amendment to the dress code will be for Weekly Mass Dress. Now that the House t-shirts have arrived, students will wear those, along with dress code bottoms, for weekly Mass on Wednesdays.
If you have any questions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Tracking Parent Volunteer Hours
As noted in the Parent Information Packet, St. Mary’s will again track parent volunteer hours in recognition of the importance of parent involvement in our school community. Families are expected to volunteer a minimum of 30 hours each school year (June 1-May 31) in activities that directly support the SMHS community. Families may choose to opt out of volunteering by paying a $450 fee. Hours are tracked using the MobileServe app. Information and instructions on using the app can be found on the Pirate Parent page of the school website.
The Pirate Café is up and running! Students will be able start their day with their favorite pastry, latte, tea, or smoothie. Hours: 7:30 am - 8:10 am in the Cove. St. Mary’s branded tumblers are now available for purchase in the Cove. They are $15! Tumblers and water bottles are allowed in the classroom.
Contact Lorelei Kay (email@example.com) if you are interested in being a parent volunteer or student worker.
