Graduation Starts at 9:15 at St. Dominic
Graduation is now set to start at 9:15 am on Monday, May 23, at St Dominic. Seniors should arrive at 8:30 am; teachers should arrive by 8:45 am. Commencement should end by 10:15 am. Seniors should wear Mass dress (no tennis shoes), gown, cap and tassel, and cords, if applicable.
Hosting Baseball Regionals
Our Pirate baseball team earned the No. 6 overall seed in the state tournament bracket and is hosting regionals this weekend. Games originally scheduled for Sunday have been moved to Monday, May 23, due to weather. The schedule for Monday is:
Game 1 - 12:30 pm, St. Mary’s vs. Rangely
Game 2 - 2:45 pm, Trinidad vs. County Line
Game 3 - 5 pm, Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2
JT & Grace Joyce Endowed Fund for Facility Improvements
St. Mary’s is growing the newly established endowed fund in honor of JT and Grace Joyce. For 30 years, JT, with Grace’s loving support, has made St. Mary’s High School shine. As JT retires from his duties, the endowed fund has been established to honor his faith dedication to the school and provide resources for facilities improvements and maintenance on the property. Chromebook, Textbook Return
Chromebooks and 2-part power cords will be collected from students, May 24- May 26). Go to Room 205 to turn in these items to Mrs. Cichon and Mr. Mantz.
Volunteer Opportunity with the Western Museum of Mining & Industry
St. Mary's has entered a new Letter of Agreement with the Western Mining Museum & Industry. The purpose is to promote St. Mary's, to raise funds for various school programs, and to provide parents and students with volunteer hour opportunities. Volunteer dates coming up are May 22 and May 26. The shifts are three hours long, the work is light, and training will be provided.
