Crossover For Change, a nonprofit organization that uses basketball to empower young women in Uganda, will hold an auction on Thursday, April 7, at Gold Hill Mesa from 6 pm to 9 pm. Proceeds from the event will help with travel expenses and camp material for the organization’s trip to Uganda in early June.
Crossover For Change will run basketball camps at two Ugandan schools, Maryhill and Immaculate Heart. St. Mary’s Josephine Howery ‘20 and current St. Mary’s junior Cameron Richter helped start Crossover For Change and serve on its board of directors.
