St. Mary's is extending the financial aid application and FACTS data submission deadline to Feb. 15.

Some clarifying points:
- We are requesting financial data to help us determine how to establish a fair tuition for all our families in the future. Our current tuition is less than half that of most of the other top 15 private high schools in Colorado.
- We estimate the cost to educate a single St. Mary's student for 2022-2023 will be approximately $15,000.
- For those who choose to fill out the FACTS information, tuition for 2022-2023 will be $10,900. That is $4,000-plus less than the cost to educate.
- For those who choose to not go through the FACTS process, tuition for the 2022-2023 academic year will be $11,900. That is $3,000-plus less than the cost to educate.
- The only data required to secure the $10,900 tuition for 2022-2023 is income information as reported to the IRS. All other financial data is optional.
- To ensure equitability, tuition assistance is based primarily on FACTS data. In extraordinary or unusual circumstances, the Tuition Assistance Committee will consider additional financial aid when requested.
- Questions on how to navigate that process may be directed to Tommy Darneal. finance director, at tdarneal@smhscs.org.
- Thank you for your support as we strive to be proper stewards of the financial resources of the school; and as we work toward a just, fair and Catholic tuition solution.
