Introducing Your New Weekly Update
Starting with the 2021-2022 school year, St. Mary's weekly eBlast is being renamed the Signal. Back in the day, pirates used flags to communicate with ships that were nearby, and called it signaling. So, "signal" seemed a fitting term for St. Mary's weekly communication to those closest to us—our students, parents, faculty/staff, and board of directors.
The Signal will go out each Friday afternoon during the school year, and once a month in June and July during our summer break. We encourage you to read the Signal closely, as you will find all of your important information here. Each Signal can also be found in the News section of our website.
Handbook Coming Soon
Be watching your email in July for the 2021-2022 Family Handbook, which will include an update to the dress code and academic policies that have been approved by the board of directors.
Pirate Volleyball Player, Coach in All-State Game
Jill Kellick and Coach David Barkley will take part in the CHSAA All-State Volleyball game, as part of Team Black, at CSU Pueblo on Thursday, July 1, at 2 pm, with a second game shortly after. On June 30, a tailgate party will be held on Wednesday night for all players (of all sports), families and friends. Use the following links for more information or to purchase tickets.

Preseason Soccer Starts in July
Coach Gregg Braha will start preseason soccer training in early July for both the boys and girls teams. The boys soccer season will begin in August. All students who are interested in playing either boys or girls soccer are encouraged to contact Coach Braha at bsoc@smhscs.org.
