Educational choices are abundant in Colorado, but St. Mary’s High School has set itself apart, providing academic rigor that is steeped in Catholic tradition. Our community is second to none, encouraging our students to become the best versions of themselves and giving generously to our tuition assistance program, making St. Mary’s college-preparatory education accessible to all families.

It is not too late to receive tuition assistance for the 2021-2022 school year. Tuition assistance funds are still available, with the possibility of receiving a discount that is 50 percent off our advertised tuition.

The St. Mary’s community generously gives its time, talent and treasure. During our Annual Gala on April 10, an anonymous donor committed $100,000 in scholarships for deserving families. This donation will allow St. Mary’s to offer additional scholarships starting at $3,000 a year to families that meet the tuition assistance requirements.

St. Mary’s High School is uniquely positioned to partner with parents who want their children to have an education that both prepares them for college and life and is rooted in the morals and values of Jesus Christ. As an independent high school, St. Mary’s is free of government mandates that dictate the curriculum and environment offered by other local schools. Our alliance with the Diocese of Colorado Springs provides an integrated educational experience from pre-kindergarten through 12th grade.

Recent changes to our curriculum have strengthened our commitment to empowering our students with knowledge. Our humanities sections use original texts taught using the Socratic seminar method. St. Mary’s theology curriculum has recently been redesigned by theology chair Father Joe Dygert, with the approval of Bishop Michael Sheridan, and is uniquely suited to teach students to think critically. And our math science and engineering teach 21st century skills that prepare our students for the future.

At St. Mary’s High School students can craft a schedule that is uniquely theirs, challenging them academically while at the same time nurturing their passions and their faith. Small class sizes allow teachers to know each student individually, so no student is left behind.

St. Mary’s High School provides both an education rooted in the Catholic faith and a traditional high school experience. Students learn leadership skills through sports and extracurriculars. The school’s policies about sports allows any student interested in playing to make the team and provide opportunities for students to participate in more than one sport per season.
