Your generosity is making the future brighter for St. Mary’s High School students! Our amazing St. Mary’s community came together—virtually—on Saturday, April 10, for the school’s Annual Gala to support our Tuition Assistance Program. The result: a St. Mary’s education will now be available to more students.

The 2021 Gala, our second virtual event, was the most successful in St. Mary’s history, overall raising $237,000. This record-breaking total does not include an additional $100,000 in matching scholarship funds provided by an anonymous donor. This year’s Gift from the Heart appeal raised $168,000, also a new record. As announced at the Gala, this year’s Gift from the Heart funds will be split between tuition assistance and our St. Mary’s Catholic Education Foundation. We are committing $75,000 to tuition assistance next year, and then the remaining $93,000 will be invested into the endowed Tom & May Kelly Scholarship Fund to support deserving students now and in the future.

All of that is thanks to your generous support! St. Mary’s High School truly could not fulfill our mission—to educate students in the Catholic tradition to be responsible, moral, critical thinkers and leaders well prepared for college and life—without your support.

This year’s Raffle winners are: Ken and Mary Baumel, first prize; Deacon Dave and Kathy Bull, second prize; and Steve and Cristina Priddy, third prize.

If you purchased an item in either the silent or live auctions, please make sure you’ve paid for the item through the GiveSmart page (www.stmarys21.givesmart.com) and then remember to pick up your items at St. Mary’s High School. Items may be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
