Blackboard with pirate mascot

Good morning, Pirates! Today is Wednesday, Jan. 20. It is Wednesday of the second week of ordinary time.

Congratulations to Daniel Zill who took home the superior speaker award at this week's Manitou/St. Mary's Congressional Debate Tournament.  Owen Barton also set a personal best, narrowly missing a nomination. The virtual meet attracted schools from as far away as Idaho. Nice job, Forensics.

Girls interested in swimming should meet in Mrs. Hanson's old room (205) during lunch today for Group A.

Congrats to the winners of the spikeball tournament Friday, and a special shout out to Mr. B and Mr. Rose for their special exhibition victory! Way to go, folks. Hope all who came out Friday for both freshman day here at school and the Community Day at The Grace Center had a good time—sure looked like it.

This Friday we are planning a Community Play Day at The Grace Center. We'll have Ultimate Frisbee for sure and other games as available.  Come out from 12-2 pm. The day is  sponsored by Ultimate Frisbee Club and Senate.

Keep social distancing folks—and keep those masks up over mouth AND NOSE! We’re trying to minimize our quarantines and avoid an in person shut down!.

Also— there was a black North Face jacket and an Under Armor black sweatshirt left last Friday at The Grace Center. They’re in Champ’s room.
