St. Mary's Families,
POSITIVE TEST RESULT
We wanted to let the community know we had a positive COVID case in the school last week. Students and staff who need to quarantine have been notified.
Thanks to the updated "close contact" guidance issued by the state, the number of students and staff who need to quarantine is much smaller than last semester. As you may know, this is why all of our classrooms have assigned seating for students. Having assigned seats gives us better accuracy on contact tracing and helps us keep more students and teachers in the school.
VIDEO TOWN HALL
This Tuesday, Jan. 19, at 6 pm we will host a video town hall. We want to take the opportunity to "welcome" Mrs. Robyn Cross as she will assume the principal's reins on June 1. We say "welcome" as many of you are well-acquainted with Mrs. Cross and her work at St. Mary's over the years as a teacher, student life director, admissions director, dean of students, and international program director.
We will also address how the second semester is proceeding at this early date and what we can expect in the days ahead.
